COA Postdoctoral Fellowships

The Center on Demography and Economics of Aging at NORC and the University of Chicago invites individuals who wish to pursue advanced training and research in population studies to apply for a postdoctoral fellowship. One appointment will start in October 2008, offering an annual salary based on experience.

Eligibility: Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and have completed a Ph.D. in Sociology, Demography, Economics, Population Economics, or Public Policy.

Each applicant must submit the following material:

• A curriculum vitae
• A writing sample, such as a dissertation chapter, publication, or working paper
• Two letters of recommendation
• A statement outlining the research plan for the postdoctoral fellowship
